We Love SaintPaul

SaintPaul, we have few words for it. The color, the prints, the playfullness,... We discovered it in the beginning of I Love Belgium and just like our lil' blog SaintPaul grew and evolved being sold all over the world, from Paris to Tokyo, Seoul, Hong Kong, Jeddah, Berlin, Barcelona, Brussels and more...in shops such as Le Bon Marché and Bergdorf & Goodman.

For our readers who don't know the brand yet: Belgian designer Jungho Geortay studied at the famous La Cambre academy in Brussels. He worked for famous fashion houses such as Lanvin, Kenzo, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Paul & Joe... and today, he is still at head designer for Breton nautical clothing label Armor Lux’s Heritage line. He's a specialist in prints usually adding a surprising twist, a hidden detail or visual game to a classic patterned shirt. The name SaintPaul comes from his second name, Paul.

If you ever wondered how Jungho creates his wonderful witty prints, check out his design process in the pictures underneath. We also shared the making of their SS13 campaign and if you want to check out their collection, just take a look at our Facebook page.
