Top 10 Architecture

Where do we look when we want to see innovative architecture? The Netherlands… think again!  The last years Belgium has seen an increase in young, talented and dynamic architecture firms coming out schools such as Sint-Lucas and La Cambre. A new generation that’s keen on going from the design phase to the actual realization of the project, pushed by architecture lovers who see talent and give possibilities.

But don’t expect show-off architecture, lets leave that for Dubai. We still stay modest with an outspoken love for minimalism, this time with a more outspoken Belgian twist. On the other hand the architects have so much to work with: the city-planning of an average village (yes it was a disaster in the sixties), our love for the barn (hey, we love our agriculture) or the need for space (10 million people in a small country). These projects frequently pop up in a fancy architectural magazine, but here at I Love Belgium we collected 10 examples just for you to admire! Enjoy.
