Sometimes you do your discoveries in unexpected places. In Herentals the I Love Belgium team spotted a modern take on a Belgian red brick house. The inclining roof really is a true eye catcher and serves the recognizability of the house. House De Vijlder by META
Your kids are out of the house, you both have a home office and to top it off you just bought a building plot in front of a nature reserve. That’s the situation in which de Vijlder family approached META architecture office. Their question: design us a house with an atmosphere which is open to the inside while closed towards the street.
