Frankly

36-old Belgian designer Annelies Braeckman worked several years for Dries Van Noten and Martin Margiela. But two years ago she decided it was her turn for the spotlights and she created her own label Frankly. She has no urge to be fashion forward. She just wants to design beautiful clothes that fit perfectly for the everyday modern woman. Her fan base, that even writes her mails cheering the perfect fit of a pair of pants, grows very quickly. We admire her for her decision to produce the entire collection in Belgium. That makes her fashion forward in her own way.
