Since the 1st of September Atelier Solarshop is popping up again until the 8th of October. As we’ve mentioned before, Atelier Solarshop is an initiative to promote up and coming designers. One of the designers in this edition is Jan-Jan Van Essche, driving force behind Atelier Solarshop together with his business partner slash boyfriend Piëtro Celestina.

Jan-Jan Van Essche (1980), a Fashion Academy graduate, born and raised in Antwerp just launched his first men’s collection Yukkuri. After his graduation in 2003, he won several prices including the prestigious Dries Van Noten and FFI price. Now Jan-Jan is ready and set to go. But this will be on his own pace.
