Pantone seems to have a thing for Belgium. Not only they’ve opened the first Pantone Hotel in Belgium and now they’ve also collaborated with Belgian design agency Base Design for their new Fashion + Home campaign.
Pantone, has been creating an universal color language for almost 50 years. In 2011 they added 175 new colors in cotton and paper formats plus 21 new nylon brights to their Pantone Fashion + Home color palette creating 2,100 new shades to choose from. Base Design, an international design agency founded in Belgium with branches in New York, Madrid, Barcelona and Santiago, specializes in not specializing and has worked for clients such as Chanel, Kipling, The Museum of Modern Art, Puma and L’Oréal.
For the campaign Base Design looked to communicate creativity, emotion, and excitement through this range of powerful colors. They looked upon photographers Tom Betterton & Jenny Gage, stylist Victoria Bartlett and Belgian model Hannelore Knuts to create surprising, stunning, and saturated imagery to deliver a dazzling campaign that reflects the overriding concept of how color inspires creativity.
It’s hot and sunny in Belgium, so no better day to show off this colorful campaign showcasing Belgian creativity and beauty that will be launching across many online and offline channels starting in September 2012.
